Our Brief Apologies
17/06/2013
Hi All,
This is just a quick note for all of you who haven't been able to keep up with our brief Facebook updates.
Our apologies for not putting up a blog post about our Odyssey so far we have been too busy exploring the depths of Bangkok, having cocktails in the pool, chilling out in the middle of nowhere on a floating river house, having a few Chang beers, swimming in waterfalls while fish eat dead skin from our feet and cuddling tigers of all sizes!!!!
We are eating breakfast overlooking the river Kwai at the moment and heading to chiang Mai by overnight train later.
We have been writing notes and will endevour to put those into something meaningful during our journey north (if coops ever stops burping!).
We are both well and having the most incredible experiences!

We have been stuck away from three days in the jungle near Chiang Mai undertaking a three day elephant trainer (mahout) course! It's strange how normal it now feels for both of us the jump on an elephant and take them for a bath. We have so much respect for these huge and gentle animals, and also much respect for those mahouts who care deeply about these creatures.
We only have a brief stop in Chiang Khong tonight, on the Thai-Lao border before crossing first thing in the morning to Laos for a two day slow boat down the Mekong to Luang Prabang. We should have some time to catch up on ourselves and hopefully put up some detailed accounts of our adventures and some photos once in Luang Prabang.
We are also trying to arrange an interview with radio sport about our upcoming korfball trip to the Netherlands. If that all works you might hear more about us on there!
Keep Smiling
